It's really simple. I love you. Your smile. Your words. Those good morning texts. Your lips. How you tell me when you're pissed cause i pick on you. The way you move my hair to kiss my neck. How your hands cover mine. The way you watched me put on my makeup, as if i'm too pretty for it. How I always light up when you walk into the room. I love everything about you, but mostly just that little fact that you love me back. / I can't say that I have fully moved on or fully forgiven myself but I am such a different person now. I guess only one of us really changed. I didn't expect things to ever be the same. And I know what I did, yet I've moved on from the past. Because I'm better than that now. You lied and toyed with me and I still chased you. You never play around with those words. I hurt you. but you're hurting me everyday. You can mistake this for weakness in my heart or call me pathetic for still holding on to a worthless love, I don't care. But don't once think you're too good for me because I slipped up one night. I have spent every night since then building myself up from that fall and becoming the girl I need to be to surpass your judgement and hate. I can honestly say I'm proud of who I am and have accepted who I was. I'm not only the girl you fell in love with, I'm everything you wanted since day one but better, smarter and stronger.
